[STUDY] Dissertation Research Study Needs Atheists
#21
RE: [STUDY] Dissertation Research Study Needs Atheists
Hi there! Thank you all for taking my survey and for your input, I really appreciate it.
The survey is a compliation of published and validated measures and results are immediately invalidated if the questions are changed in any way.
And I apologize for the lack of inclusion of international participants.
I really wish that the American Psychological Association Ethical Standards for Research with Human Participants didn't make it so difficult to collect international data!
I truly appreciate your willingness to participate and contribute to the sciences!
Good luck in the raffle drawing!

It seems somewhat.....focused.

As focused as a jealous lesbian?

Yeah, I'm living in United States of the America. Some of questionnaires are somewhat fake dilemma [I think?], but I think the results will be interesting. Even although I'm not sure the final results will be unbiased or not.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to this survey and to assist in this dissertation research study.

I completely understand the fear that the results may be biased, and I assure you that this study has been reviewed by 2 boards of both Atheists and Christians and that the research is being carefully monitored by both sides.

I'm sorry. I was only able to skim the opening post. Will we have access to the findings?

Another question: Would it be impossible for the people collecting these answers to simply multiply the number of "confessions" per week by 4 and then 36? Why three questions?

Those are excellent questions!
The finding results WILL be available at:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Confession...00?sk=wall
The study will also be published and an online link will be available for public viewing.

I also understand the question about why there are three questions required to assess the frequency of confession.
There are people who feel as if they don't disclose every week and would quantify the frequency as 0.
This allows for more precision in the data.

Thank you so much for participating in this study, and thank you Atheist Forums.org for allowing me to post the survey here.

I am so appreciative of all of you.

Good luck in the $50 Gift Card Raffle!
