Bullshit. I never supported Ron Paul to begin with. There's just too many questions (which he refuses to adequately answer) regarding all those racist newsletters with his name on them, and the fact that he doesn't seem to understand the wall of separation of church & state. Not least the fact that he's extremely unlikely to win the Republican nomination, and I'm unlikely to vote for a Republican anyway. I'm not basing my support or lack of support on what one poster on this forum says. But the things that Rev illustrated just shows why no sane person should support Ron Paul.

No, a sheep is someone who always just blindly follows a leader and never thinks for him/herself. I don't think you'll find many sheep here.

It's a non sequitur to call an Atheist a sheep in that sense when an Atheist doesnt follow anything and there is no dogma, it's the belief of rejection in god claims not the conformity of refusing a god.

Haha! That's a good laugh! So ALL leaders, no matter WHO they are, are inherently bad then because they restrict people from thinking independently? Is that what you are saying?
And just because 'you don't believe in God' does not automatically exclude you from being a sheep in some way, shape or form. Maybe you are a sheep at work, you are a sheep in your politics, in traffic, in the grocery store, in your marriage/relationship, and when you conform to any of society's norms, you are a sheep. I have already found many sheep on this site. Actually, myself, as a Buddhist, is probably one of the most individualistic thinkers on this site compared to the cancerous tumor of pessimists and atheists who plague this site with trite reductionist critque for a cheap laugh.

No that's not what he was saying, 'blindly' would be a key word there, 'never thinking for him/herself'... THAT'S the point. "All leader's are bad...", that's a ridiculous straw man.
Accepting one of society's norms doesn't make you a sheep. Conforming to it because it's one of society's norms would. But sometimes it's just a good idea? I don't want a road full of individuals who go their own way and make their own rules thank you very much. A freethinking individual can come to the same conclusion, they would just get there by a different route.

I'm with you on the point against Cosmic Ape, how being an atheist doesn't exclude one from being a sheep.

Gee, he makes a good point here. If we want to avoid the label of sheep we really had better get in line and follow this buddhaboy. That way we could be much more individualistic in our thinking just like him. He's the one we should follow if we really want to be non-conforming.
I wonder what it feels like to be this full of your self? Does the light emanating from your own eyes blind you when you shave?

Why do you want to be non-conforming? Is that the main reason you are an atheist, is to be non-conforming? That's weak.
Light does not emanate from me, but everyday I am becoming much more enlightened. You will never be enlightened, nor holy, nor worthy of much respect. Do you know why? Because no one would ever percieve you that way. You are already dead. You have nothing new. I know you. I know how you are going to react. You are predictable. You are a sheep. From my higher vantage point, looking down on your pettiness, I feel some pity, but mostly disdain. You do not enlighten, you only whine and complain.
