Yes, most of the world now and through out entire history follow different concepts of justice than ones which sees fault in sexual inequality. Since they evidently worked far more broadly over far longer, I have to say they worked in a far more meaningful way.

The problem is, people want immediate results - they don't want to make it great for their kids so their children can benefit from a more equal society where all races and genders can vie for whatever they like. They just want to do for themselves. That's what affirmative action does.

Tell that to the blak families living in the burgs instead of the projects thanks to the affirmative action that helped change the consciousness of the U S whites. Ask their children if they are happy that affirmative action came by.

Really.

I live in one of the most progressive countries in the world and the only women who have pay equity are the ones who had a large union machine to push legislation through. The rest of the population go wanting.

Where have you seen better?
