Martin Luther on Copernicus; Bad Opinion Generator

Martin Luther on Copernicus; Bad Opinion Generator
This thing I found is quite hilarious. It's called the Bad Opinion Generator. Every time you press the button it shows you an opinion taken from people in history that have been shown to be horribly wrong. The first one that came up? Martin Luther on Copernicus: http://shar.es/f9XtW
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

Ah, I remember in school we had a whole assembly about these sort of things. How long do they last, because I could just read them all day?

That's nothing compared to how wrong he was in his opinion that christianity has significant room to improve without getting rid of christ.
