The kinect gimmick is ridiculous, basically it is using the kinect als a big microphone, why not just use the headset you get with your 360 anyway?

I'm sure you do internet shopping anywhere else on the internet as though your details are at any less risk hmm?
Besides, I got two free games out of that 'farce'. Bloody good ones as well. Xbox was hacked back in the day too you know, what did they give to their customers for the inconvenience?

I do lots of internet shopping, helluva lot...
But so far amazon haven't emailed me to say that they have compromised my details
Sony have, so has xbox, and so did Trion(Rift) last year.
Is it a coincidence that they are all gaming companies? are they a bigger target for information theft? or are these types of companies not taking our account security seriously?
Whatever the answer, my trust in them is very low and I am steering well clear

If you want to buy on PSN without a credit card, buy a $50(or whatever denomination) PSN card at your local game store. You enter the code on the card and your account is accredited the amount that you bought. No credit card needed.

I just played through ME2 again, finished the arrival DLC, and I am excited as he'll about ME3. It will be glorious.

Speaking of DLC, is that going to factor into what the data you transfer does to the story of ME 3?

I'm relatively certain that the Arrival ends the same way regardless of what you choose. Either way at the beginning of ME3, you have been stripped of your rank and await trial. I would presume that the only difference is how the Batarians feel about you.

Bioware is releasing DLC on the same day as the day of the game release, that has some Mass Effect fans up in arms about. Bioware has defended the decision to launch the DLC " In ashes" where you can recruit a Prothean squad member, some very die-hard fans feel this is just EA being greedy, and that any content that is released on the same day as the game content is released should be in the game from the start.

I must say that does take the piss a bit - I'd like to think the DLC is extra stuff they develop later to extend the lifespan of the game.
Dont build a game and then take bits out and then try to sell it as extras. At launch! bare-faced cheek

I think that most people don't understand that the main build of this game has probably been finished for 8 months or so. So while they are doing the testing phase, polishing phase and such, the rest of the development team really has nothing to do outside of working on DLC and such for it. It isn't always a case of greed, while I'm sure that plays a part it in.
Personally I'm fine with paying extra as long as I feel it's worth the extra.
