For me, you cannot. We Turks have fought in the war for liberty. Not anyone else. Besides, everyone else besides us has a country for their own. And we are supposed to be all humanistic, right?
Greece, the cradle of civilisation. They were one of the first to say no to the multikulti humanist crap, and even tried to seperate a chunck of land from us, but were soundly beaten back.

Well, I generally ignore the rest.
They are not my concern, and I know that the rest were never concerned with us anyway unless it was a war, or they had something to gain from it, so I do believe that we do not owe anything to the "rest" either.
So why should I really treat the "rest" as anything but the "rest"?
Unless they stay out of our way, they are simply props to my eyes, just like the rocks, mountains, cows and cowgirls in a lovely Swiss countryside.

You are a wonderful humanitarian Mahmet. [/sarcasm]

How many steps away from rape and genocide can you be when you consider people not of your race as merely "props"?

Far too many steps to care, really.
I just want to live in peace with my own kin. If some troublemakers want to stand in our way, they shall be removed the proper way .
I do not know what kind of an answer you are trying to get out from me, but I am repeating myself every time I have to answer your silly questions.
I just answer them out of respect for your old age.

Plenty of countries have fought in a war for liberty. My country was founded on the success of one.

That's not true, either. There are numerous countries that are not independent nations.

Right. And your country was founded on foreign soil by colonists, who came from various other nations.

I know, my homeland, Crimea, and my other homeland, Kazan is now under Ukrainian and Russian sovereignity.
And my heart weeps for them each day.
But I comfort myself and my brethren with the knowledge that one day, Turan will be a reality. And at that day, Turks from all around the day shall rejoice.
The man in my picture was a Tatar thinker from Kazan, Russia. He emigrated to free Turkish lands as child, and was an advocate of Turkic unity.

And well, no race or nation becomes the Untertan, the subject of another race or nation by choice. They are made so by force. Tatars were forcefully seized. They tried to do the same with us. We resisted.
We won.

Look at Greece now, practically a superpower, I;d definitely want to follow in their footsteps....
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Meaning, independence means nothing to you. It did matter to the Greeks.
Besides, a nation goes through the good and bad, the hard and easy times together. If they are unable to do that, they are not fit to be a nation, or are not a nation to begin with.
Greece saw worse times than these.
