Did Darwin Kill God?

RE: Did Darwin Kill God?
I agree with that point Adrian. I too thought that was a bit pointless. Cant blame a bloke for persuing an idea.. perhaps he's onto something but hasn't quite grasped it yet.

To say it's not worth watching at all is typically dismissive of you though. the guy has some solid points that are well made.

Yeah Evie I was amused at some of the incidental music. personally I thought those were deliberate.

Let me rephrase then:

The first 20 minutes are worth watching if you think evolution leads to atheism, or means atheism. The last part is all nonsensical rubbish.

Evolution certainly doesn't MEAN atheism. And it certainly doesn't necessarily lead to atheism. Although it CAN do. In Dawkins case for example - when all you want from God is an explanation for nature then once you have evolution you no longer need God simply because it's less parsimonious to add a God on the end of evolution.

Evolution certainly doesn't DISPROVE God either way of course. As far as I know (at least) nothing does.

I agree with that.
- Science is not trying to create an answer like religion, it tries to find an answer.
