I agree with the post above me... That kid HAS to be a troll.. Windows free? Yeah right, i don't care if you pirated it, as i usually run Linux Ubuntu anyways. With a decent knowledge of Ubuntu, and a few paid programs that have ported games.. There's really no reason to use Windows

On another note, are you sure that your RAM speed is correct? It looks pretty low considering the quantity you have would imply that it's newer.

It's what came with the computer stock. Eventually going to upgrade the RAM to 16GB with better speed. I bought this computer for running a goldfarming operation on a game, and as a pc act as server for some things. So i didn't need anything to be top of the line fast.

How about my first rig?

This is the Nike electro/mechanical analog computer. First built in 1951 it was about the size of 5 refrigerators. It used 76 op amps each consisting of two and a half vacuum tubes and 7 precision motor driven potentiometers to convert analog range, azimuth and elevation data from two radars to compute an intercept path and provide guidance information for Nike Ajax and Nike Hercules surface to air missiles. It was in service in the US from 1954 through the mid 80’s. The last I heard Nike systems were still in service in Italy, Turkey and South Korea (SK is a surface to surface role only) although the computer in those systems was replaced with a digital computer in the 70’s or 80’s. It wasn’t until the late 70’s that digital technology was reliable enough to replace this 1940's technology.

I’ve been in Huntsville on and off since 72, but no I was at Bliss and/or Germany in the early 80’s for Nike. If memory serves me though I believe the depot level maintenance was here around that time. Later today I’m heading for Fort Campbell for a day or two. Joy joy….

I don't know about depot level, but I'm pretty sure that's where the techs were trained. I was part of a different program.
