Thanks for all you're replies. I haven't responded much because I'm thinking about what you've written. It's hard to respond when you have to spend some time (days or weeks) pondering the ideas. Thanks again for the replies though.
I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

Oh, and referring to ourselves as Heathens, probably not helpful. Its linked to polytheistic religion and paganism already, it would confuse things completely.
Don't object to a new word like Gay etc. There was another one like this, saying we should call ourselves "Brights".. sounded pretty lame too.
