Feeling your going to die.
April 2, 2012 at 8:25 pm
I did not know were to put this, so I put it here.
For some reason I feel like I am going to die before I am 25 and I don't know what is causing it and I don't know how. I am not afraid to die, just I want more time on this earth (having say that, at the rate this earth is going I don't want live here and more with more of are private lives becoming public and the threat of annihilation only a button press way or globule warming). I also feeling like I will never know happiness and it will come between my personal happiness and/or freedom and my safety/survival. I have never spoken of this before and I don't know want to do.

*you're
I felt the same way about 21. I felt that I was going to die at the age of 21. I also have always felt that I should cut my left hand off about two inches above the wrist joint. (No seriously, I still do when I'm anxious) I'm now 37 with a wife and two children, and I have a condo. You can't know your future so don't even try. Here is the best advice my dad ever gave me, "Pick something, do it, even if its wrong." Ok, not the best advice as advice goes but it did get me moving. Here is a piece of advice that has served me even better, "If you don't like the results you are getting, change what you are doing."
Good luck, life's short and none of us will make it out alive! I know; fucking atheists.

I can see why joining the God squad is temping at a time like this, as it is a support network and possible fall back for somebody but as a Athiest you have no sky daddy to comfute you and your faced with harsh reality instead of a dream world, but when I get out of this I be stronger for it. BTW I am Dyslexic so don't criticise my spelling or grammar please

Reality isn't so harsh really; it just depends on where you look.

You never know when you are going to die, so there is no point in thinking about it. Just live. When you die, you might not even know it happened, since you will be dead. You also don't know what the world will be like in a few years. It could turn out great and you could be happy. There's no point worrying about everything. It doesn't change anything. It only makes you depressed.

I Just Feel Like are society will be going toward a mix of 1984 and V for Vendetta.

You should stop watching the news, you will connect with reality better. Seriously, stop watching the news! They are programming you to stay indoors and be fearful.

A common symptom of narcissism, unless there is some rational reason to think otherwise, such as family history.
Right now, I suspect you think 25 isn't young; I assure you it is,very. Here in Australia, men tend to mature at around 40,if they are going to. I never bothered. Women? At about 30,unless of course you don't want to actually talk to them.
I'm sure things are entirely different in the US.

I've felt the same way about several different ages- 16, 18, 21, 25...
I think it's probably a normal fear, though irrational.

A former friend of mine told me a similar thing about a reoccurring dream he had that he would be murdered at the age of 36. His 37th year came and went. Such feelings are like any other prophecy.
