RE: Evolution
Hmm some of you are resorting to nasty name calling and pontificating bigotry. I am just putting forward some ideas. Interesting that not all athiests are Marxists but most I suspect. They tend to revert to aggression and insults and really hate religion with a passion.
I like diversity so I like all religions, they make the world an interesting place. I am more of a free thinking Anarchist. But I think everything is not so cut and dried and there maybe is more than meets the eye.
I have been conned with Santa Claus and the Tooth fairy so I know that people are liars and you don't know where these lies end or not. So it is better to believe in God/s than people? Is your beloved "society" so rock solid and real or just a passing dellusion in the greatness of mayhem?

A theist anarchist, that's something you don't see often. How'd you manage to reconcile a supposed ultimate morality and eternal judgement with anarchy? They're a conflict in terms. One calls for, as I said, ultimate judgement, while the other calls for primordial freedom and no rules.

That's like calling yourself a Pagan Christian- even by definition they're incompatible. You must understand that all religions will seek to impose order upon anarchy, even if you're noble enough to let them think as they like.

Hint: When you say humansim and feminism are used by people to oppress themselves on an atheist forum you are bound to get at least a few insults.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

I don't see the point of this. Are you claiming that society is false?

"Society" dosen't even exist. You can have "The society for the prevention of cruelty to animals" Clubs and societies etc. But society on it's own is meaningless. People are individuals that can join societies which ever they choose. Another nonsence is "The International Community" this is a propaganda line first coined by Kofi Anan. The politician using this line is saying every community on the planet agrees with him or her, absolute madness. But this works well on the sheeple as they are conditioned to having blind faith in politicians and the UN.
That is the very reason "Compulsory Education" is forced upon the masses.
The irony is that religions out there with different tenets to the mass consumed secularist "mainstream" can shatter these brainwashing elements and help people to think for themselves. Diversity of thought is healthy even if you might not agree with other peoples morals, ethics or beliefs.

Well that's easy God/s is creater of everything and never tells me what to do. I don't know about this Judgement or afterlife, maybe I will be recycled. But I would prefer immortality on Earth and other worlds maybe rise up to godhood. An afterlife of hedonism would be good. If not, oblivian would be nice. You can never get bored when you don't exist.
Christians are sort of pagans, they believe in the Trinity. Not the one true God "Allah Akbar" LOL.
Well you don't need religion to impose order on Anarchy, Stalin and Mao did that very efficiently, thank you very much. Mahatma Gandhi wasn't so bad was he? He was religious and tolerant.

Mao actually was very bad at imposing order. 65 million people died of famine under his rule. Stalin was Catholic. I'm not sure what you're trying to get at by bringing up Mao and Stalin, but there you go.

So you think society doesn't exist, and religion can help people think for themselves? You really need to be more specific with these posts. Most religions impose order on people via holy scripture, but unless you specifiy which religion you're talking about, I can't know if that counter argument will apply to what you're saying.

"mass consumed secularist 'mainstream"

What the hell does that mean?

LOL. This is comedy. Society doesn't exist, but religion does, and it is what brings us to order after some dull-witted manner dreamt up by a guy who believes in gods but not in social order, and who posits nevertheless that most atheists must be Marxists. The ox ees moronic indeed.

RE: Evolution
Sure, atheists worship "the system", and anarchism is compatible with religion, just like Christians are actually Pagans.

Yeah. That makes sense. Riiiiiiight.
You should really look up the definitions of the terms you're throwing around.

Theist- one who believes in a divine order headed by an all-powerful figure.
Anarchy- political view in which no government or ruling order is acknowledged.

Christian- person who believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ, most notably as they pertain to God
Pagan- anyone who's not a Christian
