The gods of the myths are supposed to be the Homo sapiens sapiens and the Giants the Neanderthals.
In this manner the title cannot be "Gods –> Gods –> Gods -> Gods -> gods -> God !!" because the gods were not depicted as Shepherds, Bulls or whatever, as you wrote, and they were neither seen as God like entities because the idea of the immaterial gods was absent before the evolution of Shepherd-Bulls-Judges into messengers. It was the messengers who informed humanity of gods living up in the heavens.
