I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

I wouldn't read too much into the threats. Unlike US, Indian courts are amazingly incompetent when it comes to any matter that has made the news. This would be more of a political circus with free publicity for all involved parties than result in any noticeable legal action.

On a side note, the Jesus statue place is not far from where I live. I might actually go and check it out.

This shows how illogical religious beliefs are. You can give them an obvious explanation but they will always deny it. And then they condemn you for not agreeing with them.
