Do you think that perhaps Ashley's parents have abandoned him/her in a coffee shop and these spam threads are her attempt to communicate with the wider world? Like, s/he was left in a starbucks with a laptop and nothing else?
Maybe it's Ryantology stuck in his apartment trying to reach out from the neverending hallway?
