Even though i agree with what you said , its not the big picture here . People of saudi arabia are ok with their situation . They think that theyre God's chosen people and that god chose someone from their land to enlighten them while the whole world lies in complete darkness .They fear change and development . And they think the world is trying so hard to take that away from them because they are living the life of virtue . Its so hard to do the unbrainwashing and almost impossible . Oh, yeah...my country(U.S.) also suffers from this mentality. Admittedly, we don't take it to the extremes that your country does, but that is only because the people who advocate secularism stand in their way.
