No, lol, you don't all agree on that. "Salvation" you see, was determined by god waaaaaaay back in the day. "Faith" is merely a side effect of the grace that was extended then. The faith you have isn't doing anything for you in that arena, it's all the will of god. Had god not chosen you, you would not have faith to begin with.

That’s the Augustine interpretation of original sin. In the New Church interpretation, the Lord continues extending his unceasing love to everyone, even those in hell. Unfortunately the damned refuse to receive that love. Their habit of rejecting the Lord’s mercy destroys their capacity to respond, i.e. spiritual death. Nevertheless, they retain their reason and ability to choose; they just keep choosing hell indefinitely.
