I get the impression the REAL reason you get banned is because you bring up a point, someone countermands your point, and then you claim it again as if the people who have just proven you wrong didn't say anything.

You have been on plenty of atheist fora, you say, and always get banned...meaning, you go on one, preach, get banned, over and over again, which has led you to THIS one, and you expect the same thing?

Someone has a bit of a martyr complex going on. That someone is you. Rest assured, though, the admins of this place do not ban someone just because they're religious twats; you're going to have to go and break the rules to get banned, which will take away the whole martyrdom thing since, you know, you basically bring it on yourself for breaking the pre-stated rules that you agreed to abide by when you registered.

People don't get banned for that here. There are arseholes like Godschild who have been here ages. There are moderators of various religious persuasions, and other members who get along just fine (mostly). People get banned for being dickheads.

They do not want to hear anything contrary to their views and they will get rid of those not telling them what they want to hear. if atheism is so good, why do those who subscribe to that way of life, act worse than the religious people they accuse of doing bad things?

Why do they go to court and force others to take down religious artifacts or gifts? All your actions show is that atheism is not tolerant and you will act like bullies when you want. At NO TIME do we see athiests acting better than God, Jesus or their followers. We always see them acting worse.

You have no argument on this subject. If atheists were tolerant, then we woul dnot see these court cases, we would not see their protests about religoon and public spaces, etc. Think about it.

Look, I'm sure someone has already explained this thoroughly to you. But I'm a nice guy, so I'll try again. Tolerance does not mean letting one point of view run rampant over others just because that's always been the way it is. Tolerance is allowing people their viewpoints, their right to make personal decisions, whilst also acknowledging that there are people of various backgrounds and they should all be taken into account. Government endorsement of any religion is against your constitution.

So, tolerance - I would think most atheists agree that people have the right to believe whatever they want. They have the right to worship privately. Churches/mosques/temples/synagogues can purchase public land and build their buildings (even three streets over from Ground Zero!), and people can go there and worship daily, weekly, annually, and praise whoever. What they cannot do, and never should have been able to do, is put religious symbols on government land, because that makes it government endorsed. They CERTAINLY cannot have their religion pushing education, health, politics and legislation. How simple is that to understand? Which bit is giving you difficulty?

"Do unto others..." is known as the Golden Rule. It predates monotheism by about 1,300 years, and is the most common moral code found among most atheists in the US as it has been adopted by the American Humanism Association, or, AHA, as in, "AHA, I don't need god to be good! I knew it!" Humanists are one of the largest atheist groups, with most non-religious individuals tending to gravitate towards humanism [most recent poll showed roughly 62% of atheists in the US tend to either gravitate towards humanism], ergo its moral precept is the most common moral code of atheists.

Second: Secularism is largely practiced by moderate christians in the US, and only the psychopath redneck bible-belt idiots try to break the wall of secularism because they can't handle the idea that there are people who don't believe like they do.

Unfortunately for you but fortunately for this country, you will never be allowed to break that wall, so you'd best get used to it. OR!
