There's no nicer way to say this but...

RE: There's no nicer way to say this but...
Your religion should not interfere with law. You have a pretty thick skull, but maybe this will get through: Your religion should have no say in anyone's life but your own. Your bigotry has no place being law. Your prejudice is disgusting and you should try to develop some empathy towards your fellow man.

Now, Annik, I'm sure he has plenty of empathy for those that share his beliefs.

It's just the rest of us that he applies the broad brush of prejudice against.

Is that so wrong?

To reply to Annik--No but GOD did and does.

No, it is called democracy in action. Democracy applies to all and to be exercised by all. Have you noticed how the homosexual community, every time it doesn't get its spoiled way, circumvents the democratic process in order to force their desire son those who have democratically rejected their proposals?

Your anger should be directed at them for undermining freedom and democracy.

Yeah, they just keep getting so upset over being persecuted against. Why can't they just be happy as sub-humans?

There's no such thing as sin, it's just a childish notion for arrogant/intolerant/scared people.

Quote: Nothing good comes from a union beteen homosexuals, why let it continue?

Really? You're truly that narrow minded? I could as easily change your sentence, take out 'homosexuals' and replace it with Christians, and I would be as wrong as you are now. Absolutes are indeed the mark of a true bigot..

Quote:How is allowing gay marriage for the better?

How about making thousands of people happy that they are an accepted part of the community and have equal rights and status as human beings?

Quote:You are just like the California homosexual community. You and they are only happy and support democracy when its results are in your favor but when it goes against you then it is ridiculous, wrong, and influenced by religion.

Religion and politics should have nothing to do with each other. I'd like to see how you would react to "democracy" under a say, muslim government.. Tongue

Quote:You forget that people have free choice and they are allowed to freely choose against same sex marriage.

Nope, we do not. No one is forcing you to marry a gay man Big Grin

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I applaud this brave move.

I can tell you this much: the concept of marriage according to judeo-christian values has a similar value in the vast Turkish traditions across eurasia, even amongst our brethren who worship pagan or dharmic faiths.
Even the majority of the atheists here would not be content with marriage being open to all kinds of "sexualities".

I'm glad that in my country, despite being not a very 'developed' one, we have gay marriage legal. Bear in mind that the state doesn't force churches to perform gay marriages(mainly catholics here and we all know what the fucktards think about this), its about marriyng by the state, so they could have the same legal protections Hetero couples already had. Its been 2 years now and I don't see any problem arising from it, the world hasn't ended, people are not 'changing' en masse to become homossexual(like the so often claim), nor apocalipse came.

Its funny, really that the so called christian love™ is such a limited proposition.

And DeeTee, just for you:

Way older than your wholly babble, and a small step ahead of your barbaric religious ideology.

The U.S. is not simply a democracy. It is a democratic republic. The distinction being that a democratic republic is supposed to protect minority groups from the tyranny of the majority. It is you and those that think like you that undermine freedom.
