RE: North Carolina bans gay marriage

Why should those who reject the normal life be granted the same benefits of the life they rejected?
Nothing good comes from homosexuality, why should they be given status just to practice their alternative preference?
The supposed concerns listed by many homosexual groups can actually be dealt with in a manner that does not usurp democracy and undermine the democratic process. They do not need to get married to fix most of the problems they say take place.
Quote:you bigot.
we are not talking about a 'race' of people but a group that wants to practice their own prefered version of sex. Get over it, there are far bigger problems in the world today than one's sexual practice.
Quote:Opposite-sex couples are the ones who have special rights, since they an get married, while others cannot.
What you forget is that the homosexual can get married. He/she just happens to reject the partner they need to marry. Their rights are not being denied, they are rejecting the right way opting for their own ideas--why should they be rewarded for that?
Why should the majority who rejected this demand lose their part of democracy just to appease a few who are spoiled and can't live by the democratic process and its results?
Why should the homosexual community be rewarded for denying the majority the democratic process and democracy?
You all have it backwards and are denying the rights of those who uphold the democratic form of government and follow its rules.
