Life will, duh.

Of life.

Being alive, staying alive...

Yup, that.

(May 14, 2012 at 3:52 pm)kılıç_mehmet Wrote: Why? If you're going to die, why care?

Because I'm alive now.

If you contribute to "others" by others, I mean to the public, next generations, your country and nation, your contributions can be cashed in by both you during your lifetime, and others during their lifetimes, along with even future generations.
Is that not a more higher purpose of living?

What are you blabbering about? My contributions have lot's of returns - to me. And why is that contributing to others is the higher purpose? I don't see anything that makes it higher.

Until when?

But for what?

You really are an empty person, I guess.

But you won't be in perhaps the next day.

Because you are an empty person, that's why. You do not feel the need to contribute to people around you. Mayhap this is the reason why you have such a simple outlook in life.

I do see the appeal in that, and I'm sure many would agree with you. I certainly don't disagree personally, and being well regarded by people who survive me, whether friends or family, is something I do aspire to, but not having that goal shouldn't be frowned upon. Some people just want to keep to themselves and there's nothing wrong with that either.

By the way, you are as mad as a box of frogs, but your posts actually amuse me no end. Love reading them even though you are literally mental. Keep up the weird work.

Why do you live, mehmet?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

To fulfill some of the goals I've set before myself.
I do not know if I can live long enough to see them, but another primary goal is to have children that might see them.
As I said, I am a man of a firm ideology. This ideology lines out my life's purpose. It comes in the forms of aiding my people, therefore aiding myself, my relatives, my family, my friends, and my future children.

Say, if I had none of these. I'd just be "someone" that lived to eat, drink, and nothing else. What really would my life will be then, I wonder.
Why would I feel the need to take a step from my door to the outside?
Why would I feel the need to publish a monthly magazine, as I did before the school closed it down...

Yes, they said the same for our leader when he spoke of national independence. They said that he was mad.
Many others were called mad, whereas madness belonged to those who shunned them.

Mine is also to fulfil goals. To archive things. Not having kids or getting married but to accomplish many things. To understand as much as I can about reality, watch my nephew grow as well as other members of family. The joy of women and flying. To experience all I can and when it's time for me to go. I'll graciously accept death and look back at my life and all the things I've done in it with a smile.

Nope, I'm more full of life that you'll ever be.

On the contrary, its because my life is so full of meaning and purpose that your irrational arguments hold no sway over me. I don't need to contribute to other people to fill some emptiness inside me, like you obviously do. I am the meaning and the purpose.

As I see, you have consistently failed to provide a rational reason for contributing to others. That is the problem with your philosophy. At its root, it is irrational.

Well, good for you. You can die without having any significant footprints in this world. But my blood dictates me that I ought to be of service to my people. I would feel empty without it. There is no shame in admitting that.
You are nothing. Meaning, a meaning you have not. A purpose, a purpose you have not. A self-centered purpose is not a purpose at all. For your investment is in vain.

You could do a service to your people by shutting up and not making them seem so bigoted.

Do you really think I put much value to your empty words, such as "bigot" and etc. Like it or not, we are Turks. Our purpose is to serve our kin, to elevate ourselves above the others.
Anything else is not acceptable.
