Why do you think my response was fatuous, i gave only a simple answer to a more complex situation because the deprogramming is not difficult for the dog, it is the person who has the problem adjusting.

We spent the weekend up at Duck Cove, on the Point Reyes peninsula .. just north of Tomales Bay State Park. No weekend here would be complete without a walk with the dogs. Here are a couple of the area where we walk. We're walking on the hillside above Tomales Bay.



Here is one of Fletcher and Heidi Rose on that walk.




After the walk they go swimming in the bay. Then comes nap time.

Your dogs are so pretty. I'm always happy to see them. :3 And the scenery is great! I took my little girl to the beach for the second time (the first time, she wasn't keen on it, but I think the water was too cold for her) and she loved it. She played in the waves and chased her daddy into the deeper waters (not too deep, it was too rough for Hovik to feel okay with letting her swim, I agreed). I was cute, she was happy. I also saw a man wearing an atheist shirt on the beach. I was so shocked, I had to tell him I loved his shirt! XD

Pops and Glo used to love to run. Gif doesn't like bugs so he doesn't want to go outside unless it is necessary. Unfortunately these days it is about all Pops can do to walk around the block. Racing was hard on him and he is much the worse for it.

A fellow with a couple of greyhound rescues says the group he gets his from tells him he mustn't walk allow his to run with other dogs. They fear they'll be aggressive and unable to play from lack of socialization. My dogs play quite well with his and I've never seen them cause any trouble with any others.
