Nearly lost Mimi yesterday. Poor little thing fell into the fish pond and couldn't quite get out. I found her at 4.00 when she didn't come for her dinner. She was hanging on to the edge with her front paws, with her rear in the pond.. She couldn't stand up for over an hour. Mimi is 17, deaf and almost blind. Normally,she just sleeps between meals, waking from-time-to-time to yell at Shadow the Pit bull, who ignores her.

Have emptied the pond.

How scary! 17 is such an old age for a pup. Hopefully she gets back everything she had before.

She was fine in about an hour,after being dried,and given some warm milk with an egg. She then had a nice sleep in Shadow's bed. She's still there.Tiger

Hahha, no, I never did (and I don't think he would've appreciated that) Big Grin

EDIT: Oh, and he did have shorter fur in the summer, these are all taken in winter. We couldn't trim him during winter, he got too cold Tongue

I have a real soft-spot for dogs. My neighbor just got a seeing-eye dog. I want to pet it really badly and introduce my dog to him.
