Before I actually saw the video(I can now thanks to Syn), I had read the OP, and I thought to myself, 'this is going to be morbid and slightly disturbing. Then I watched it, and no matter how hard I try, I can't help but laught at that.

Would you say you were objectively sad, subjectively sad .. or don't you give two shits which kind of sad it is? People do get their pets taxidermied occasionally which is pretty sick but at least it isn't for making public displays of them.

I just don't see this as respecting the corpse of a beloved pet. I wouldn't make a stuffed animal out of my little one and I don't understand why anyone would stuff the cat and then turn it into a toy.

I admit that I did, though I'm not proud of it - I think that what I did find humorous was the absurdity of it. I don't understand why someone would do such a thing.

We all express our grief in different ways, I guess.

I'm wondering though, was this a sincere homage to his cat, or was he just doing something stupid to make a viral video?

Seriously guys?

He spent six months before he did anything. If he was planning from the get go to do that, you'd have seen him act much quicker.

And even then, WHO the fuck are WE to know his emotional state?

Respecting pets bodies my ass.... Utter bullshit.

I buried my fucking animals in the nematode ridden earth.

You want to talk disrespect, then let's talk about abandoning the flesh container of your beloved pets to be unceremoniously consumed by crawlers.

"Respect". Pah.
