Right. The universe isn't made out of God, and God isn't made out of spacetime.

The question then becomes, what did god make the universe out of, if not himself?

Which one is more likely to be the answer to how the world was created? They're both equally as likely,

right? Now imagine there's an elephant instead of the monkey, or a giraffe, or the mole was somewhere else

on the body, and so on. Therefore there being a God is a one in an infinity chance.

This is a completely idiotic argument from confidence in ignorance.

It misrepresents ignorance - "I don't know what limits there are on the forms god can take" - as knowledge - "god can therefore take all forms I can conceive of"

From this foundaqtion, all that can be built up - "Therefore any specific form of god has one in infinite (expansive view in itself of what you can conceive of) probability" - is logical rubbish.

It is far better to examine some specific forms god has been assigned, and argue against those.

Clive, in that case let's just use all the known animals with each of them having a mole on the same spot. Therefore, not infinite

Hmm. Well, the biggest issues I see are:

1) How can something that is material precede the universe? Isn't that a contradiction in terms--if there's 4-dimensional arrangements of matter in spacetime, there IS a universe already.

2) How do you know that the information about the potential creators has no impact on the probability that they actually created this universe? That is, would a monkey be likely to make this kind of a universe? Would an entity that hates consciousness be likely to create a universe containing conscious creatures? etc.

Why can't something that precedes the universe be material?
2) the mole created the universe it had supernatural properties in it
