Bizarre Encounter
June 15, 2012 at 7:30 pm
I took my kids to the local splash park today. There was a group of children there and by their accents, I could tell they were African. They were chasing this one little girl around mercilessly telling her she was a witch, possessed and evil. One of the children even suggested they "burn the spirits out of her".
Of course, I was appalled. I looked around for an adult in charge of them, but none of the other parents seemed to have a clue so I forced them to stop myself.
Anyway, I thought I'd share this bizarre occurrence. I know about the child "witches" in Africa, it just disturbed me to hear children speaking that way right here in Nashville. Ever heard this kind of thing where you're from?

No, not locally, but there was a story in the news not long ago, about a couple that tortured their 15 year old nephew to death over 3 or 4 days, I think in London. They were witchcraft believing africans of course.
You did the right thing in stopping that bullshit there and then. You absolutely did.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

I'm highly suspicious of this tale.
I'm not convinced that African people are obsessed with witches.
It may be true but it just ticks too many boxes.

Nobody said african people are obsessed with witches, though some are.
Just so you know it DOES happen though...

While I wouldn't go as far as to brand all African people with such an obsession, I'd just like to draw your attention to the following:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

With a lack of background it seems like a stereotype. Did you know that some people stereotype?
look it up.
