How's that Scientology working out for you, Tom?

You all should be ashamed of yourselves, Tom is a level 7 operating thetan, so he can do whatever he wants! Long ago he cleared his body of attached thetans so he is a clear and unable to be shaken from his desires. Oh, and he can move things with his mind.

I'm not sure we can trust TMZ (fine news source that it is) to tell us why the divorce is happening. People get divorced all the time. I never understood why we pried into the lives of celebrities anyway.

voyeurism and the chilling fact that people hate their own lives. Everything's amazing and nobody's happy!

I'm a self-confessed voyeur of everything; whether it is sex, secret lives, scandal or intrigue. Basically, I'm a nosy bastard. Tongue

To be honest, I'm more interested in testing my observations. There was a particular interview with these two and the baby, where Tom spoke about scientology and how Katie was completely on board with it. During that interview I predicted that they would divorce; she would be the one to initiate it, and she would cite Tom's involvement with scientology as an influence her decision. It was how she got uncomfortable, particularly when the child was mentioned, that got my attention.

I'm one of those introverted people who watches everything, takes it all in, then processes the info and draws a conclusion from the observations. In three separate jobs I predicted imminent redundancies, simply from observing subtle changes in management's behaviors and other small changes that were happening with processes etc. So this is sort of like a game for me - a very heartless one - but a game none the less.

Scientology is the Barney Stinson of religions.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.

Rhiz:

I'm a baby boomer:

We got our first fridge when I was 6.

Mum washed the dishes with soap, using a little wire cage thing, which she agitated in the water.

The washing machine had an electric wringer.

Home entertainment was a massive radio which sat in the lounge. I got my very own (vacuum tube, brown bakelite) radio when I was 8.

No phone until I was about 14, when dad's company paid to have a phone installed.

We got our first car in 1960 when I was 13, a 1938 Nash. Same year we also got our first TV, a 23 inch black and white, tube job, which broke down about once a month.

Had my first plane ride at 18, in a Fokker Friendship, flying at 10,000 feet. Loved it. First time in a jet was at 21, Sydney-Singapore in 1969. Was enthralled with the whole experience. I remain enthralled by the very idea of overseas travel, even after visiting 20-odd countries and over 50 cities.

It has been observed that to primitive people, technology is magic.Same applies if you see amazing technology become commonplace,as I have. It was even more exciting for my dad,who was born in 1919 and died in 2006,at 87.
