I wouldn't go that far.

Nor I ... he's good in some things, entirely mediocre in others (I really don't like him much in Batman for instance, I've heard he was superb in "The Mechanic").

He did Jesus? Reeves did Buddha?

I was being ironic, I thought the video would clarify that. -_^

But in all seriousness, I don't hate Christian Bale but I don't love him either. But his flip out on the lighting guy makes him comedy gold. Big Grin

I think that incident was blown out of proportion by the media.

The movie I am waiting for this summer is Inglourious Basterds, it will be released in August and it's directed by Quentin Tarantino, my favourite director.Smile
Personally, it's not God I dislike, it's his fan club I can't stand.

Well yes, I just don't buy into the "shock, horror (what a terrible man)" bit

Yeah, I wasn't shocked or horrified but terribly amused.

I love Seth McFarlane's spoof he made of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PJwRzABuSc

RE: Summer movies
Off hand, the movies I'm looking forward to this summer:
  • Moon
Sam Rockwell in a 2001-esque psychological film about being alone on a moon base. COUNT ME IN!

  • Inglourious Basterds
I'm a sucker for Tarantino so I'll be there on opening night. Can't wait for QT dialog and over the top violence.

  • Bruno
I liked Borat a lot and really enjoy this style of ambush "mockumentary" filmmaking

  • Public Enemies
Another perfect recipe. Michael Mann, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp. That's more than enough to convince me.

  • Funny People
I'm not entirely sold on this yet, but we'll see. I love Apatow, but I'm starting to get sick of Seth Rogan. Maybe Adam Sandler can somehow make this stand out. I don't know.

  • Extract
I don't really know much about this, other than that fact that it's Mike Judge's next movie.
