Summer movies

Summer movies
Just saw Transformers 2. That shit was awesome. Granted it's basically a bunch of CG robots fighting each other with a rather predictable plot, but that was what I wanted and that's what I got.

What I didn't appreciate was the sub par audio system in the theatre I was at. It was loud, but not loud enough especially since I have hearing problems. And then of course people bringing BABIES to the movies. 2 out of the last 3 movies I have been to, someone brought their infant baby. Who does that?

But anyway, this summer movie season has been great. Saw Terminator and Star Trek. Loved them both, though Star Trek was clearly superior. I'm looking forward to Harry Potter and G.I. Joe. I plan to go to HP opening night in my Draco Malfoy cosplay. Tongue

What do you think of the summer movies this year?

Also, WTF a 2012 apocalypse movie. Srsly?!

Eilonnwy, you need to go to Yahoo and watch the newest trailer for the 2012 movie....... Truly looks crazy and this will be one for the theaters by far.....Smile

I am looking forward to Harry Potter and G.I. Joe.... I have yet to see the other 3...(Trans., Term, Star T.)

I want to see them all.....Just haven't had the time.....

I saw enough in the trailer and transformers...

...And I will probably see it anyways because disaster movies are my guilty pleasure.

Same here no time Sad ..well plus I don't like to be away from the kids.

Like disaster flicks but I'm not an effect junkie. CGI yeah, but endless fight scenes are a bore to me.

Transformers 2 doesn't interest me at all, it looks like I've missed ST (bummer ... was waiting for it at our local flea pit, wanted to support local business) and T4 (not a huge fan of Bale except in "Equilibrium") will absolutely go and see HP6.

GI Joe?

Kyu, I'm with you on that 100% about Bale..... Equilibrium was a great movie and one of the few by him I like.... If I had to say another it would be "American Psycho".... If you have not seen that yet, you need to check it out.....

RE: Summer movies
I saw half of Transformers (the first one) and couldn't stomach it and turned it off.
