Yes ma'am we do. We have been together for two years now, engaged for nearly a year.

As to the Subaru part of your question, my partner already has told them about us, we actually had our story on the Subaru website. When I finally get to be with him again I will ask him for the link. Unfortunately he is out right now for training for his new job. I won't get to see him for about a month, maybe more. Sucks, but hey what can you do.

I spend most of the school semester away from him, as we go to different schools about an hour and 45 minutes away from each other. It's difficult, but modern technology makes it much easier to bare. I hope this will remain true when he goes off to do field work overseas for months at a time.

My sister in law goes through that every time my brother in law deploys for his job with the Army. Just do yourself a favor, don't go batshit crazy and neurotic while he is gone because you miss him and might not get to see him or talk to him daily. She does that and it puts a HUGE strain on their relationship.

I'm not that insecure. He'd still text me, call me, Skype with me whenever he could. He'd tell me beforehand if he thought whatever country he was visiting would pose problems with that. He'd be going for linguistic fieldwork, so there wouldn't be too much preventing him from contacting me.

I'd sure hope not, if he can't even make contact with someone might mean it's a little hard to work. But I am glad to know you have already thought it out and come to terms with how it works. Sad thing is my sister in law used to be in the Army. She knows how it works.

Why thank you, my dear, I am a huge bookworm so threads like that are always of immense interest to me. I love to pick the brains of those who love books as much as I do. It's so fascinating.
