RE: Felicitations
I'm a fiction lover, but there are many folks here who are just as passionate about nonfiction (which I do enjoy, it just takes me a lot longer to get through them, which is frustrating).

I have exactly the same problem. Unless a book is just phenomenal I can't usually read non-fiction quickly. For some reason my mind just doesn't process it fast enough. If I read it quickly I walk away not having grasped a damn thing. Fiction on the other hand I can fly through relatively quickly if the book is good enough. I just finished the book Medusa by Clive Cussler and it took me nearly no time at all.

I have a certain distaste for the emoticons, and particularly despise the laughing/rolling dude when used in response to one's own statement, but.....

Holy fuck that was funny! "Nearly naked, body all ripped,....". Oh, fuck me. I'm still laughing but can no longer piss myself since I've emptied the tank.

I've read every Harry Potter book in under a day.

Ok, now I feel slightly dwarfed. I can't read quite that fast. It usually takes me a couple days of reading to finish a book, at least. Most times because of life's funny happenings I tend to take a couple weeks. My partner is not big on reading and likes to be up doing things so I sort of follow his lead most of the time.

That was not my intention, lol. I've been reading since I was very, very young and the circumstances of life left me a lot of time to do so (and a lot of motivation). I don't read fiction, I devour it. I stay up all night, skip meals, that kind of thing. I feel like we are going to be very bromantic.

Haha sounds good to me. I guess I have met my match when it comes to reading though. I have never in my life been one to skip meals, probably why I am a tad overweight. But I love that I found someone who loves books obviously as much as me. Have you ever heard of the author Alastair Reynolds?

Have you heard of Jim Butcher? He writes my favorite series.

I think I have heard of him. Not sure though. Here is a link to the first book I ever rad from Mr. Reynolds. Got me hooked. Amazing sci-fi author.

This is the first book of the series I'm talking about. It's 13 books long with 14 on the way.

I am familiar with those books. I have never read them. I shall have to add them to my must read list and see what I think. Right now I am reading The Greatest Show On Earth by Dawkins, and I have Crime and Punishment lined up right after that. It might take me some time but I will let you know what I think. Keep pestering me if you have to. I have a terrible memory.
