I thought i'd hate it as i hate most ceremonies, but it was pretty good. I liked the Tim Berners-Lee bit too, man is a living legend.
Have noticed a lot on the internet of people saying it was rubbish. But i don't think they got it.

Wish I'd stayed up for all of it but the marching in part put me out. Woke up for the lighting of the caldron and a couple songs by Paul McCartney. (Big fan of British pop music.) Then I saw recap footage of enough parts to wish I'd seen it all. I'll have to look for the Beans bit on youtube. From what I saw, I'd give it the highest rating. Direct comparisons are no good and I don't much remember other ones other than being impressed last time with the Chinese.

Gotta be honest the ceremony should of just ended as the cauldron was lit.
Paul McCartney coming out afterwards was a load of shit. He's past it, and it just seemed so out of place. Half the crowd got bored of singing along half way through too. Just seemed massively unnecessary.
