Especially when the churches in my area are mini cathedrals. They have bell towers and steeples. They're windows are all beautiful and stained glass. I mean, I may not like the church, but I can admit they have some really nice architecture. The parish that I went to as a child was renovated recently and looks really nice.
In Cambridge, where there is a large Jewish population, there are a lot of nice synagogues.
One of the nicest areas in Boston is by the Christian Science museum. :o

I am in Connecticut now but I have been in New York for most of my 40 years of life on this earth.I agree that the catholic cathedrals are beautiful and the architecture is exquisite.Too bad the same cannot be said for the Pentecostal churches. Most of them are little rundown buildings and very few of them are actually big beautiful buildings.Too bad they don't have the money and support that the catholic churhes have.It would make their lies somewhat more convincing.

One other thing in the Pentecostal spanish churches when you attend as a visitor they like to make you stand on your feet and introduce yourself to the congregation. What is your name and if you belong to a church what church you are affiliated with.I have not set foot in a church in years and no longer feel comfortable in that environment.
