Debunking the myth of the Karmma

RE: Debunking the myth of the Karmma
Ephrium;interesting argument, but you have debunked nothing.

'Karma' is a metaphysical proposition for which (along with evidence of anything TO reincarnate) there is currently no evidence to support or falsify the notion.

I think DeistPaladin's physical/ psychological explanation is about as far as it goes. The same goes for "The Secret" which is no more than solipism. It's been around for at least 70 years,to my knowledge.

Other versions of "The Secret".Some of the critiques are worth reading.

"Bring Out The Magic In Your Mind" Al Koran (1971)

^^ Agreed...

That is what irritates me about the religious mind.. It seems to seek out fanciful reasons for things in life that are quite beautiful and fascinating all on their own.. It seems like a life of deception...

Behavior probabilistically will yield certain types of responses within a given context.. The interplay of these things statistically is a fascinating cross study of psychology, sociological structure and math..

Why we gotta call it magic?? Geez..

This kind of thing can be true when counting one lifetime or counting one event... for sure, buddhist thought believes in multiple life times, and multiple events.

This is a gradual process, and I've surely witnessed a huge difference between having a closed off heart, and having an opening loving heart (personally).

Having a closed off heart is literally a physical feeling that can be felt with each thought that chooses that way of thinking...
and having a loving heart literally effects the person for each thought where that choice is made, absolutely, without a doubt.

Some laugh at and scorn others, but they miss out on an very pleasurable heaven.

The idea of magic is a way to add fun to the experience (and because children like to have fun, adults don't). Some of the great wonderful things about life defy explanation and mathematics, and that is part of why they are great and wonderful.
