It's encouraging just how many UOGB fans are about! Actually I only just realised I've managed to showcase just about every one of the team except poor old Wil Grove-White. To make up for that, here's a couple of somethings that perfectly encapsulate his amazing powerhouse of a voice:

and this one from their Proms performance:

Just try to imagine that last one literally rattling the windows and shaking the walls, or maybe you can ratchet the bass up to get the 'live' effect. You don't just hear and enjoy the performance, you can actually
feel it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

My favourite song of their's is this:
One of my favourite pieces of film music, made even more awesome.
In that case you'd probably prefer this slightly better recording - it's the same piece and the same performance but better quality and with added comedy intro:

I absolutely agree, by the way - just love the bit when Jonty cracks up while he's supposed to be whistling. That's the difference between live performances and studio recordings; more latitude for spontaneity.

I know, it was heartbreaking to choose which ones to include; I didn't want to swamp the thread with vids, and I really wanted to include that one, but to me the best video of it was as part of their 2009 Proms performance and I couldn't find it online. If I can figure out how to rip DVDs and get around YT copyright etc, I can upload it myself.
Well, as promised here is that very performance, uploaded from my copy of the BBC Proms DVD:

And if you'll indulge me just one last time, I'd like to share a few others of my favourites for completeness; most of these I again uploaded myself (the ones with the smaller text):

This next one is truly amazing:

Did you spot where I included a taster of their trademark "fake-out" of the audience? Also, the BBC camera direction is decidedly dodgy with far too many longshots, but that last one clearly shows the scale of the 6,000-strong crowd, filling the Royal Albert Hall to standing capacity.
Finally, as a special bonus, check out the musical skills in this piece:

Right, I think that's enough from me and the Ukes. If it was left to me I'd turn this into a UOGB fan forum! Your turn now...

Wow, what a sound! I wonder if he'd be interested in being the ninth Uke member?
