As far as I'm concerned, the victims of this attack were also moslems.
I'm sure that there is no real religious motivation behind the event. It's terrorism, plainly, to terrorize the locals, to make them fear the taliban. Music and dance are things that have been tradition in these areas for ages, and they never were actually met with violence before the taliban guys stepped in.

Well, they wouldn't want that of course, they still have to suck the area dry of it's resources and establish more military bases!
And to be honest, I'm not really sure why you lose your temper over this. We all sit in our homes, sipping our warm coffee, while having a cigarette and writing comments on some bloodshed that happens far away from us, concerning people that are 2nd class world citizens, as they are nothing more than bystanders or pawns in this battle for regional supremacy.
