Well, no, I'm not saying child porn needs to be legalized, but we need to have some flexibility. There's too much grey area there.
A while ago, Traci Lords used a fake ID and made a huge stink by making a name for herself in the porn world while she was only 16. Guys who have her videos shouldn't be prosecuted.

I don"t know I had my run in with a pedo Priest from the Catholic church and castration would not seem enough for me. You still have them being hid by the Pope and i am sure the Vatican has tons of child porn there.

Women can be castrated; it's just more difficult. Reach in, snip snip and the ovaries are gone.
That being said, I have experienced how testosterone can influence sex drive and I can very easily see how it could impact pedophiles.

My dog has had his balls chopped off but he still likes to hump a pillow every night, in my experience castration doesn't solve anything.

I have experienced my nymphatic sex drive while both on and off testosterone... I seriously do not understand what castration of women would solve. For that matter... I don't see what castration of a man would do past leaving them unable to make babies.
When all of my hormones run out (only on anti-androgen), I still have some drive, albeit it's miserable. Having T running rampant in my system? That shit is more depressing than anything.

I guess that's the difference between you and me 'before.' My sex drive felt like an addiction; I had to do 'something' whether I really wanted to or not. I felt like it was on control of me, instead of my being in control of it. Now that I feel like I'm in control of my sex drive, I'm much happier and more comfortable with it. So I don't know if that's a trans thing or if testosterone in general has that 'sex addiction feel.' And if it is like curing a sex addiction to those pedophiles, castration could undoubtedly help.
Also, you may really want to get back on estrogen. Testosterone blockers alone don't work very well. I know my T levels have been pretty high when I had those rough periods that I wasn't on estrogen.

Hey now, I'm on estrogen unless I run out early again Goddamn... it's hell just to carry myself through the day without hormones. If at all avoidable, I'll never be doing that again.
I was desperate for any source of emotional support prior to HRT, and I tried to get that through sex. But then, I went through my mental transition though my early teenage years, whereas you didn't get on the button until you were in your mid-late twenties (right?)... I could see it as possibly related. Unfortunately, the sample size is much too small.
I wouldn't say I am addicted to sex, moreso that I am very often interested in it. You know... I can't be the only one

True, it does vary from person to person. However, there are various themes that tend to happen. For girls, we usually have reduction in sex drive post-estrogen. Interestingly enough, there seems to be an extremely common theme there: sex drive drops to zero, then it bounces back up but when it goes back up, it's a more comfortable 'up' vs what it was before.
And, yeah, guys generally get a stronger sex drive with testosterone. I've heard some very 'interesting' stories that revolve around that (Lee is a little scared of what it will do to him; me, it's one of the things I'm kinda looking forward to).
But in the end, it is a generalization and I can't expect it to apply to every last person. Room does always need to be made for individual deviations.

The important difference being that, when two consenting gay adults have sex with each other, it doesn't generally involve either of them manipulating, using, forcing or traumatizing the other.

The sexual attraction isn't the problem; it's how they act on it. If you express this desire by getting off to pictures of children in catalogs or from hentai or erotica that involves children, I'm ok with that. I think it's a much better way to deal with your issues than actually going out and getting one of the kiddies since erotica doesn't involve a victim.
I was genuinley asking a question there and replying with my thoughts on the subject. But it could of been out of place.
