Foundation trilogy as bedtime reading?

Your dad was fucking awesome.

Oh yes. I am lucky to have such a father. Later on, when I asked him why such a book for such young children, he answered: "You wanted quality time with me in the form of a bedtime story and I would have been bored to death reading children's books, so I picked something that I actually wanted to read and did it aloud in your presence." Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

OK, so it was largely for self-interested reasons, but damn... at least he had good taste and introduced that to his kids. Smile
