'Rate the above person's music'

RE: 'Rate the above person's music'
Dave Brubeck, Take 5 - 10/10 anytime.

Here's another jazz classic, perhaps with enough groove to appeal to the non-jazz-lovers.

George Benson, Breezin - 8/10, pretty sweet, laidback. I have this in my "mellow" playlist in spotify.

Some more jazz then perhaps? Now big band style.

6/10 - I don't like jazz at all but although long, that wasn't particularly bad.

8/10 - That was beautiful, not the kind of stuff I normally listen to but I still enjoyed it.

liked the rhythms, the words I felt deflected it especially at the end.
But you got me thinking about rhythm, and here is one of my personal heroes-

Fela is quite alright, 7/10

Staying on course with the african funk:

(post 73) 8.5/10 Songs just sound better in Japanese. Not only is the language awesome, but if you don't know what they are saying then it doesn't distract you with bad lyrics. (I'm not talking about this in particular, but I know of a few anime theme songs I'm glad weren't dubbed).
E.S. Posthumus Unearthed 8/10

Oh, jots beat me to it, so:
7.5/10 Little variety, but what is there is pretty catchy.

Still looking for the exact piece, so...

7.5/10 Again, not much variety but with a good rhythm. Africa Funk is an apt title.

One of my personal favorites:

Levitate A very tranquil piece. Levitate

8/10, nice piece but I´m saving those 9´s and 10´s for something that will really blow me away Wink

Seems our taste in music is quite different, popeyespappy Big Grin
That jethro tull video was horrible - 2.5/10 and that extra half point is because the flute is such an awesome instrument
