What about Atheist country?

What about Atheist country?
I don't want to expand the question by adding the large sub text, i only want to know what is the first thought that came to mind when when you read the question "What about Atheist country?"

Just few of your thoughts, what did that question made you think about and what do you think how would atheist be with something like an "Atheist Vatican"?
First you don't exist, then you do exist and then you don' exist. The end!

There would just be no religion. Pretty simple, although you would have to note the effects of the disappearence of religious institutions. I'm sure secular orginizations could be made to replace the few good things religion does.
(Note: There is an introduction forum for introductions, if you would like to make one)

My first thought involved poor grammar.

Ok, technically it was mine too. But it could refer to atheist country like...I can't think of a good example, so I'll use a bad one. For example, 'we're in crocodile country now' would mean something other than a country for crocodiles, but if he actually meant it this way, then it would have a different meaning from what I thought he meant.

I thought about a region of the country dominated by atheists, and then also a style of country music with an atheist theme.

First thing I thought!

It is pretty evident that America's ostentatious piety comes from a relatively small (and loud) minority of professed believers. The majority of such people would probably sleep in on Sundays. Most of them already do.

The Pew survey making headlines because of the unexpected rise in non-affiliation pegs the number of professed affiliated at around 83%, but no more than half this number actually attends services (this not accounting for the strong possibility that many people probably lie about doing so).

In other words, if there would not be a backlash against the atheism part of this scenario, one would reasonably expect little practical difference for most Americans.

Personally, I am not a fan of this idea.

North Korea is still an atheist country, State Atheism has been tried it's almost impossible unless you get rid of freedom of religion and kill and/or exile all the preist, preachers, imam's etc...
