I am not a big Obama fan, not anymore, but i would never vote for Romney. Like i said in another thread "Don't worry about it, everything points to Obama winning, but 4 more years of Obama is not something i am looking forward to.

Well, it's more of a question of long term gains that come from getting the Republican party to go back to being a sane party or the sort term gain of keeping the Democrats in office. When you're a poor, queer student, you have nothing to gain from Republicans being in charge.
A good economy will be good for you.

Living with a reduced quality of life barely able to afford health care while singular persons soak up millions of dollars and sink them into property instead of investing in the economy is not my idea of "good".

I think Tino was referring to the boost in morale all us serfs get when our overlords do well.

3 days left and this is a fight to the finish, Obama supporters PLEASE hit all swing state media tv, radio, newspaper messageboards. FACEBOOK AND TWITTER.
Remind people that Romney is lying about GM shipping jobs to China and GMs CEO chastised him for lying. Remind voters that Romey has 17 advisers from the Bush administration. Romeny is Bush 2.0. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO GO BACK TO MORE BUSH POLICIES.
Every spare minute you have hit those media. Talk to as many people as you can. DO YOUR PART.

Obama may be slightly better than Romney but if we want real change then we need support for third party candidates so we aren't stuck with Crappy Choice A and Crappy Choice B every four years.

I realy tried hard not to care about this election. After all, I cant vote in the US and I`m more interested in a strong and more united Europe.
I was very interested in the 2008 election and had a clear opinion about it, I thought if a nation which just had a president who wrecked the economy and lied several nations into war, would elect another president of the same party (and worse Sarah Palin as vice) your nation would be doomed.
I guess one of the efects that the Bush,Chenney administrations had in Europe was that we europeans no longer saw the US as the prime defender and best example of democracy, or "leader of the free world" and that we tried eaven harder to establish ourselves to be that prime example.
What should I think about this election? Your system is pritty weird by our standerds (lack of third (and fourth) parties, head of state forms goverment, election outcome counted by states and not by population), but I guess that a person who has clear plans which he can present for objective analysis and critisism (Obama), is better than someone who hasen`t presented any plan at all and who flip-floped on every single social issue that exists (Romney).
And by the way, I generaly find everyone suspicious who has a swiss bank account. An estemated 80 billion euros of german taxmoney hare hidden from the german treasury in swiss bank accounts a number which could be usefull in the current crisis.
It is hard to say how much money in the swiss banks comes from illegal sources, but it is known that money from human trafficing, drug smuggleing, illegal prostetution and tax evation is there, it is also known that the Drangeta laundered it`s money there and that swiss banks helped financing iranian weapons projects - so Romney should be asked if he had moral considerations about his swiss bank accounts.

I do care and investment is the only way to fix this mess and Obama is the only one willing to do it. Romney wants to starve us to death and wants us to have the same Chinese sweat shops and slave wages.
To the OBAMA supporters here in the states, hit all the swing states FLA and VA AND NH AN CO AND LL THE OTHER SWING STATE MEDIA MESSAGEBOARDS.
Remind them that Romney lied about Jeep shiping jobs to China. Remind them that he has 17 of Bush jr's advisors. Romney is Bush on Steriods.

The thing about trying to convince people to vote for Obama is.....that's a waste of time. I think it's pretty clear that "undecided" voters are a very small minority, most people know who they will vote for before the first debate. the vast majority vote with party lines, or if not, will still have decided in advance with an incumbant running.
The small percentage of undecided voters has already also mostly decided by now (hence the small movements in the polls as plusses for BOTH candidates), as Nate Silver has explained is the undecided, as expected, splitting roughly half and half.
Who are you going to convince to vote for Obama by posting on those boards? You will only be preaching to the choir, as it were, or to people who's motto is "anyone but Obama", and they mean it.
This election is already decided, and has been for some time. Now it's just a waiting game to find out what the decision is.
