Americans, Do Not Vote

He extended the Patriot act, increased the amount of warrantless spying, signed the National Defense Authorization Act, which permits the government to hold suspects of terrorism indefinitely without trial (even if they are American), and operates a secret kill list.

But that's ok, because at least he closed Guantanamo right? Oh...yeah.

You already got Bush on steroids; he just happened to be a Democrat.

Obama is probably a much better guy than Romney, all things considered. What does it matter though? We already know that Obama is always doing what he can to appease the elite and military, at the expense of responsible economics and the public's rights. Why during the debate, he even agreed with Obama that the corporate tax rate needs to be lowered! Why would you do that, when the corporations are actually fairing pretty well, while everyone is not?

Obama is a lost cause, and Romney is too slimy. If you actually take the effort to go and vote for either of these guys, you're showing politicians that they can get power by simply showing up and making empty promises. You will be lowering the standards as to what constitutes leadership. You will be part of the problem.

Yes. We will just sit back and let anyone enter office. Where are the politicians who were former artists, scientists, or architects?

People will grant power to any serpent. The standards have been lowered by uninformed, credulous voters.

Only 20-30% of the American electorate votes. The rest either don't care or don't like their options. If this could be remedied, things would change.

How would this be remedied?

Vote and vote third party. Voting is too important, please don't discourage people from exercising their right to vote.

Didn't you hear what happened to the Green Party recently?

And I will tell people not to vote. It's the best way to keep power away from the corrupt. The masses are at fault for giving people like Obama and Bush the power to fight wars on their behalf, while simultaneously cutting social programs and funding for education.

Ridiculous. It is the surest way to let Romney and his crook pals dip their beaks back into the public trough.

Obama isn't great. He is merely better than that cunt, Romney.

How exactly is Obama the best candidate for the public, again?

You're only voting for him, because you dislike Romney. The lesser of two evils logic discounts holism. In reality, the continued lowering of standards by an uninformed public, who just votes for the better of two sleazy candidates, ensures that we will always have bad candidates to choose from.

Also, the whole Democrat vs Republican debacle is a false dichotomy; and you fell for it. You are knowingly using your voting rights to ensure that the rest of us go to war, and that our jobs are shipped overseas.
Have fun, and thanks for playing!

How is not voting going to solve anything? There will just be a lower turnout; someone will still be elected. If less people voted that wouldn't suddenly improve the quality of the candidates. It is better if we vote for the best candidate, even if they are all bad, as what good would come from refusing to vote?
