Actually, IE8 and 9 failed the Acid3 test. IE8 failed to get an 100/100, whilst IE9 got the full 100 marks but displayed the image wrong.

Acid only determines how they handle errors, not how they handle displaying correctly formulated content.

Wrong.

"To pass the test, a browser must use its default settings, the animation has to be smooth, the score has to end on 100/100, and the final page has to look exactly, pixel for pixel, like this reference rendering."

That's how it has always been. Acid is a test of web standards, including the ability of the rendering engine to properly display HTML, CSS, etc.

Even under the influence of the 6 figure income of a lover who worked for Microsoft and had a rather large penis, I couldn't be convinced to use IE over Chrome. I suck at tech and even I can tell you that Chrome works way better than IE, even if it's just in terms of user-friendliness. I have Windows 7, and have always used Windows.

Sorry, Kichi, there was nothing in this thread that merited snapping back at Daniel for answering Zen's question on Member Photos. Not that you have to listen to me - I'm not a mod or anything - I just thought it was unfair. Continue destroying his lack of web expertise all you like.

Me too, I'm addicted to a lot of Firefox only extensions.

I stand corrected on Acid 3.
