The best browsers for WINDOWS are as follows:
Maxthon/Opera/Internet Explorer.
As for what's better on Apples or Linux (FF, Chrome, Safari, etc), I don't care personally!

I have experienced this on one of the threads on the recent shootings.
I did a full virus and malware scan afterwards and my computer came up clean.
