What the hell are you some utopian anarchist? "No rules" ok, you want to live in a country with "no rules" Somalia would be great for you. That is an example of "fuck you I got mine" country where only those with guns and money make the rules.
I want speed limits. I fucking hate assholes who tailgate me and put my life at risk because they think they are fucking entitled to speed. Fuck you, your rights end where my face begins.
Civil society requires rules otherwise you have dictatorships where one man or one party make them.
In the west you rights are NOT violated simply because a rule is made that you might not like. There are tons of laws I don't like, but that is what lawmakers are for, that is what the Supreme Court is for, and that is what voting is for. We get to decide, not me alone, not you alone, WE and when WE as a society don't like something we OBEY the law until we can change it.
The morgue is full of dumbasses who think "entitlement" means projecting a utopia on a diverse society. We have speed limits, I like having speed limits and most people do. We have traffic lights too. Get over it.
Wow, way to ridiculously extrapolate what I said. I'm not any sort of anarchist and do you always drive the speed limit? The autobon is germany doesn't have speed limits, are they all anarchists?
So? Your next argument is going to be "they have less accidents". So the fuck what, they also have less cars and a smaller population. You cant do that here. There is no way on the capital beltway around DC or say the highways around LA where that would work. Those can be giant parking lots and you don't want someone speeding up behind you when you are stopped.
And again, as speed goes up the risk of more severe injury gets higher. Less accidents does not change that. Any mass that is a state of motion needs more space to slow down. Any mass that hits another mass at a higher rate of speed is going to cause more damage.
It is complete lunacy to say that "if you train everyone to be formula one drivers" and "if everyone is going the same speed", means that every road and every highway should be all blindly treated the same. That is like treating bleach like water because both are liquids.
Nothing is a blanket solution and you cant slap an idea that has limited us in one spot,, and apply that idea to everything just because it "seems" to work. While the autobon may not have speed limits I am damned sure the city streets in Germany do, so don't and me blanket bullshit utopias and try to apply your personal predilections on the rest of us.
Your attitude is the same crap Nadar had to fight to get car companies to make safer cars. They eventually did and car companies didn't go out of business because Nadar successfully pulled their heads out of their asses.
There is no such thing as a utopia so don't try to sell one just because you like it.

Ok you are number one in crime rate. IF ONE SIMPLY COUNTS THE CASES!
http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_to...tal-crimes
Dont forget, the US has a population of 300 000 000 people. Conclusive crimemates are done by numbering the number of crimes by 100 000 people.
For which I only have the statistics on the homicide rate, since I couldn`t find one which includes all crimes.
But if you would care to take a look at it, you would notice that there are alot of "western" nations which in terms of homicide are alot worse of than the US, out of which I conclude that the overall crimerate is certainly higher in other "western" nations.

I never said that one shouldn`t solve a problem simply based on the argument that others are worse of, I generaly believe that one should only orientate oneself on the best when attempting to solve a problem.
But you cannot argue, that the US is worse off than all western countries. That is simply not true.

I never said anything like that, you are arguing against someone who is not me. But suit yourself.

He strikes me as someone who, despite hating the US, have never even been anywhere else. Certainly never lived anywhere else.

I love him too, but I fear he might end up like many skinny scramblers and has a bounty on his head because he is so good.
If he is to last for many years the rest of our cylinders ESPECIALLY our offensive line, needs to protect him to keep him healthy. If we had the Hoggs of the 80s in front of RG we'd win the Super Bowl every year.
But I do have to say, his back up has filled in very well. That is what we have missed for far too long. Depth. I hate the injury excuse. When you have depth your back ups are just as good as the starters.

Hello McFly! STILL MISSING MY POINT.
Your argument "You are better than others", is still an dodge and excuse not to improve even more.
You are dead wrong. Being better in on stat does not mean we are better in all stats. Education especially. We are way behind many countries and even a few third world countries. We are behind in heath care, we spend the most on it, but have more people knocked out of the system and far to many merely relying on the ER. Fuck, even Cuba has universal health care, doesn't mean I want to become Cuba.
"Things are not as bad as they seem". To who? Yea in some aspects of life I do have it better, even being poor. But that does not mean it has to be a race to the bottom.
Corporate America is bent on modeling itself on India and China's slave wage mentality. No thank you.
