Hey everyone, seems like a pretty cool forum.
20 year old Aussie atheist, been watching a lot of debates on YouTube about religion and such, and have become more interested in the topic. I've pretty much always been skeptical of God, can't think of a time I actually prayed. I have Christian relatives on my European side and Muslim relatives on my grandpa's Malaysian/Chinese side. I actually spent a lot of time on a forum for ex-Muslims, quite eye-opening reading stories of people who run away from forced marriages. Anyway, I look forward to hopefully learning something new here!
Cheers.

“It is always difficult to make the transition to a modern world.
I moved from the world of faith to the world of reason -
from the world of excision and forced marriage to the world of secual emancipation.
Having made that journey, I know that one of those worlds is simply better than the other.
Not because of its flashy gadgets, but fundamentally, because of its values.
