The difference between proving the existence of stars and proving the existence of God is, if someone asked an astronomer to prove the existence of stars, he or she could actually do it.

No difference. If someone asked a Christian to prove the existence of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we could actually do it. Ever heard of the Bible?

Now, if you can accept DNA, say as evidence in a murder trial, you'd know that babies cannot be born with one set of DNA. So your magic baby story is kinda blown out of the water.

And as others pointed out in the other post, humans have never survived rigor mortis. So the death story about your super hero is just as debunked as the birth story.

We've heard the "look around you" argument for years and years and years.

Now, here is why it does not work.

"Life is pretty" is how the believer gets sucked into "look around you".

Ok, if life is so pretty all the time then take a space shuttle up into orbit and take your helmet off(I wouldn't recommend it)

And children get cancer, and that isn't pretty. Tsunamis kill people, and even the mere flu kills 50,000 people worldwide every year. That isn't taking into account the 5 million deaths worldwide that happen every year from everything from old age, disease, crime and war and accidental.

Life has some really neat stuff in it, yea, I get that. But there is no magic to any of it.

And as Tyson and Hitchens have rightfully put it, "What kind of design is it to put an entertainment center in a sewage system?" Meaning we humans like playing with our privates but we also expel our waste through those same organs.

You want us to believe that your god exists. You want us to respond a certain way because some other fool sold you the bologna that you were "chosen" and here to save us lost puppies. You didn't expect this when you got here. Too bad, that is your baggage not ours.

No, we can respond however we like to whatever you say. It never occurs to believers that maybe we are the ones trying to help you out of your fantasy.
