I'd like to know how far the bears had to travel to kill the little kids. Did god send polar bears? Alaskan grizzlies? It must have been one of those mysterious desert bears types that the Scooby Doo Gang might find.

Bears are native to Europe though, and they get smaller the further south and arid you get. (Has something to do with food sources and EVOLUTION!) Where did the bible passage writer live?

You appear to be terrified of bears Drich, and very generous in your appraisal of what they are capable of. If you'd like I can link you a couple of stories from a few years or so back where a single man (admittedly defending his children) beat a bear to death with a log. Sure, this bear hadn't been supercharged by any god, but neither had the bears you're talking about. I grew up in an area positively swimming with bears, I treat them like dogs - I don't run, I just shoo them away, because they aren't anywhere near as dangerous to me as I am to them. Man up motherfucker........
