So why do believers Get a pass? Because with in the Law their is a provision for attonement. Some of you have asked "why did God demand animal sacerfice in the OT?" It was to illustrate this provision of attonement, and the future sacerfice He was to make on our behalf. So No one could deny the power or authority of the sacerfice the lamb of God would make once and for all.

And again this sacerfice is avaiable for all who want to love God. (even if they do not know how yet.)

There is no "pass" according to scriptures Drich. All will be judged according to their deeds and heart.

God didn't demand animal sacrifice and God Himself has shown another way for "attonement". Read the bible please...

In law - there is a concept called depraved indifference or depraved ambivalence in which a person who KNOWS that some great crime will be committed - MUST do something to prevent or report it to the authorities. If they do not - they are abetting the crime - and deserve punishment equal to the crime.

In English - we call a person who watches people sexually abuse others to be a PERVERT.

Today - 1600 CHILDREN under the age of 5 will be sexually molested by a family member or parent.

If a god is All KNOWING - it knows it is going to happen - if the god is all LOVING - it would do something to prevent it (Children are innocents) If a god is everywhere - and sees everything - it sees it happen - and if a god is truly almighty - it has the power to do something

IF all the god does is look down from there - and watch - and "SEE THAT IT IS GOOD" - then all the god is is a depraved pervert. YOU may like to bow down to such an animal - I prefer not to accept such an animal could exist at all.

In the Holocaust - forgetting about all the adults - it is estimated that 1.5MILLION children were killed. A god that knew - saw - and could prevent it but dd nothing - cannot be justified by any righteous person.

As i answered the first time this was asked a page ago, This principle came up two or three different times in the last two threads I was apart of. Appearently you all do not read each others offerings (as witnessed by this question again) So I thought if three of you were having issue then perhaps i should address this seperatly. (for those of you who were not apart of the orginal discussion)

Christian appearently saw the same pattern and started his own thread a couple days before my own, and not wanting to take anything over I decided to do what I had planned to do to begin with.

Depraved indifference is actually when someone is responsible for another's death even though they did not intend to kill, but they acted with such a disregard for human life. An example is selling a fake vaccine and people dying from the disease they thought the vaccine was intended to prevent. I believe what you're referring to is not a crime in most places unless it is part of your job description, such as a police officer.
