Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

He would look more despotic if the menacing downward turn of the corners of his mouth didn't scrunch so pouty a set of fat red lips.

Aren`t they angry because their only friends left who matter (China and Russia) voted in aproval for a UN resolution condeming the previous missile test, a potential future missile test, a potential future nuke test and approved of further sanctions as reaction to the previous missile test.

China seems to be getting annoyed with it`s neighbour, especialy since they are more and more interested in regional stability than in some fat kids infiriority complex and how he deals with it.

The Chinese generally tend to be more accommodating to American interests at the start of a new administration so as to start on the right foot. The Chinese didn't much like Hillary Clinton, Obama's pivot towards Asia, or the what they perceive to the targeted subversion of regimes in Asia nnd Africa friendly to Chinese interests. They hope the incoming secretaries of state and defence will push for a more traditional and Atlanticist policy. Also they are probably concerned not to push the US to side further with Japan on the armed standoff at Senkaku Islands.

Many 13 year olds play guns, this is why you don't let them run countries.

Still, aiming a rocket at the United States is one very quick way of destroying Capitalism..

It would take a lot more than 1.

The actual evil plot is that by pointing missiles at the US, Kim Jong Un will destroy capitalism by forcing a scale up of the corporatism-friendly military-industrial complex.

Really whether it fails or not should not mitigate worry over the fact that they may start dangerous tests. Fails could mean it drops on a nearby country or even on North Korea. A nuke landing anywhere is a tragedy. Then again, we can't afford another war. Two of my grandfathers (yes, I had three) fought those assholes before. I don't want their grandkids and great-grandkids to do it again. Let some other country concern themselves with North Korea. Someone eventually will.

What worries me is that North Korea seems almost completely irrational and unpredictable. It seemed after Kim Jong-il's death that NK was becoming more reasonable but this seems to show that instead they have become more likely to do something stupid.

I wouldn't be surprised if NK would attack SK with a nuclear weapon just as a power trip of some kind. But who knows what they really want.. I'm glad however that China is supporting sanctions.

Oh and I had 3 grandads too. None of them fought anyone tho :/
