I might just add that at no time during the discussion of the incident was there any threat of a ban. The fact that the decision to issue an official warning was re-evaluated is a showcase example of the moderation process in action, demonstrating beautifully that unilateral decisions on all but basic housekeeping matters, while not impossible, are at least democratically accountable.
